I was out taking photos at Goshen Memorial Park in Mechanicsburg. The lights where hanging down from the flag pole in a cone shape. I went into the center of the cone and used slow shutter moving the camera alittle. Love playing with lights.

On my walk, I found this on my walk through UU. It reminded me of when I was a kid, and we used to have a real evergreen Christmas tree. It smelled so good.

Learning from the Pro 12.16.09

Tonight, on my day off I took time to go to a game and study Barb's shooting, and practice shooting without flash mounted to the camera. It never hurts to have a pro shooter as a friend that wants to help you improve. She is one of the best photographers I know. I am thanksful she puts time and engery into teaching me how to better myself and shooting.

Day Out 12.15.09

I set out on a journey on Tuesday on foot. Walked up down for a trip to the bank, haircut and pick up Avalyn's vitimans. I was headed back home in this picture. Showing off my haircut and hoping for some relief from the wind.

We enjoyed bbq pork ribs, peas and a dairy and gluten free roll for supper. Then I worked on feeling three months of Avalyn's medicine strips. 24 pills a day... I hope I don't get old.

Most of the afternoon and part of the evening was spent at North Lewisburg's Home Town Christmas today. I enjoyed watching the grace and beauty of a team of horses pulling a wooden wagon with people on it. Horses are one of my favorite animals

I spent most of my Saturday in Mechanicburg out in the cold taking Christmas photos of their Christmas in the Villiage. It was nice but cold to be out for 3 hrs.

I was fighting the cold and wind and it was not a pleasant walk today. I will be happy when winter is over.

A Promise

A friend text messaged me this morning saying , "Do you see the cool rainbow out, to the West?" In diffcult times in my life I have found rainbows to tell me a turning point is coming and things will get better. I had a long talk with the boss lady last night, and hoping that things will get better at work. It seemed to be a good conversation. Hopefully, the rainbow was a sign of better things to come.

Leg Warmers!?!

When I was growing up as a child and into my adult years. My mom would wear leg warmers. She was never the most fashionable woman I knew. So, one year for Christmas my gift was rainbow colored leg warmers. I have wore them once or twice on really cold days to work under my blue jeans. Well, today on my walk I decided to show off my colorful leg warms. They did keep my legs very warm. Reminded me of the days, I used to wear my mom's as a child they went from my feet up to my butt back then.

Christmas Joy or Frustration

12.06.09 Putting up the Christmas Tree was not fun it was one thing after another going wrong when putting on the lights. I feel like this will be the worsest tree I have decorated! I hope Christmas season gets better.

I was assigned to a protest for Wind Turbines today. As I started to pull away I seen the reflection of the Man on the Monument in my mirror.
