A Masterpiece by God 01.02.10

01.02.10 Sometimes we have to take time just to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. I started taking photos of sunsets when in my high school years. I made me feel closer to God, and reminds me I am his masterpiece too.

Memories of my Daddy 01.02.10

01.02.10 Memories of my Daddy, always come running back thru my mind when I see deer in a field. He was a deer hunter, but he killed more with a cars then a gun. He loved being out in the woods and hunting. He wanted me to be a mighty deer hunter as well. I spent most of my very young years playing with toy guns, watching him skin deer and other animals. Plus hanging with his hunting friends. Mom bought a VRC and two movies Bambi and Cinderella one year for Christmas. Well, the big day came when I could go out to the woods with my Daddy when he was hunting. I layed still on the ground as a deer come close. Daddy got his gun ready, and I yelled, " BAMBI, run... run BAMBI run. " That was then end of Dad taking me hunting with him, and he was very mad at me. Well, if he only knew I now that I shoot deer every chance I get........with a Nikon Camera.

Female Downy Woodpecker 01.02.10

Sunflower Seed Treasure in winter months. Don't forget to feed the birds. They have a hard time finding food in winter months.

01.02.10 A female Downy Woodpecker kept me busy for an hour shooting her photo. She was a little shy, but very photogenic.

Cardinals Beauty 01.02.10

01.02.10 I watched the birds from my chair when I was recovering. Then I had a two day weekend after I worked a Saturday shift and decided to photograph the birds beauty. This is to help me keep my timing for sports photography.

Alex in Pain 12.26.09

12.26.09 The last time I would walk without a walker for about a week. The pain I was in was the worsest I had ever felt. I had a twisted my spinal column in a fall that morning walking Angel. I was off work for a week, and spent most of it in my bed. One of the worsest days of my life. I had to crawl to bed that night. I didn't realize I was injured till I was about half way through my walk.

12.25.09 Christmas Morning was a beautiful morning for a nice walk in Urbana. Nothing like blue sky and sunshine, even if it is Christmas. My Christmas memory tho will be playing a board game with family in the evening hours.
